Description
Adventure Synopsis:
A small tribe of desert Tabaxi have discovered that their clean water source, a well that has sustained them for years, has now become tainted by the sickening ichor of evil.
With the water supply tainted, it’s only a matter of time before this insidious contamination reaches the surrounding areas, affecting the greater region and the player characters as well.
The party sets out on a day’s camel ride to reach the Tabaxi camp and investigate the source of the contami- nation. Along the way, they encounter wounded animals and panicked desert Sandlings who are also suffering from the effects of the contamination. They are constantly beset by terrifying storms that rain down acid and ooze.
Upon reaching the Tabaxi camp, the adventurers learn that the tribe’s shaman believes the corruption is caused by an ancient curse buried beneath the well. If the party agrees to investigate the well, they will discover that a long-buried evil has been reawakened, unleashing a plague of oozing undead upon the land.
In this dark and treacherous adventure for fourth and fifth level PCs, the party must navigate the desert wilderness, brave the engulfing slime storms, and confront the malevolent force that has desecrated the Tabaxi’s sacred water source.
The adventure concludes and takes place in various stages of the tomb with a battle at multiple heights using exciting environmental effects!
